  1. He seriously cleaned his hands with disinfection gel first?! Well, thats the essence of creepiness!🙊

  2. At 1:00 to 1:35……are truly words to live by, , trust your gut

  3. And thats just the second worst torture that a Daniel Craig had to survive to.

  4. I fucking love Skarsgard, so evil in this scene, absolutely perfect for the role of Martin.

    1. It’s worth it! I saw it by myself in a theatre when it came out. Frankly though, I could’ve shut my eyes and listened to the music and I would’ve had a good time though lol

  5. i like that part… a lot
    #instincts #trustyourinstincts #stellanskarsgard #fearofoffending they always come willingly
    polite #maybeifibeg #urges #moretowels youre gonna make quite a #mess

  6. I mean this is good, but the book does this so much better, you literally cant breathe

  7. i can feel myself getting hard.. satisfying mine requires more towels. 4F2T ..

  8. “The fear of offending is stronger than the fear of pain.”

    Oh man…

    1. No the fear of pain is what makes them hope if they play it cool or appease the predator they might escape it but like he said only when killing satisfies them.

  9. This stupid song creeps me out to this day.

    1. Had to look him up playing an evil character to envision him as the Baron and I think hell do great, as a swedish person I cant get over the small swedish accent nuances though haha

  10. Professor Lambeau was never the same after Will went to California.

  11. Very sloppy on her part what if that was a safe room… just another victim

  12. 2:21
Theres something very macabre about Enyas multi-layered voice singing gaily in the background, like butterflies perching on the corpse of a child. Its as if the souls of all the women hes killed are still trapped in this place.

    1. I think its just sadistic its a pleasant upbeat song which is how I speculate he feels about torture and murder it soothes him.

  13. Couldn’t he just locked his door? He knew she’ll come soon or later so wtf was he doing

    1. He said she was in the company making a research and when she comes back to the cabin the security guard would let him know that she left the facility so that Martin would pick her up. He wasnt expecting her, he didnt need to lock the door.

  14. Can I get some followers on Twitter I’m new :x. Hope you liked the video! @donwaynebagwell

  15. It’s the simplest thing, to cause more pain than a man could possibly endure!

  16. Its brilliant how while finding out that Martin is a sickening psyocpath, we also find out that the mystery of what happened to Harriet has yet to be figured out.

    1. In fact, Gottfried Vanger, Martins father was even worse: A fundamentalistic Nazi who raped and murdered women at his leisure.

  17. fear of offending people is for the weak willed and spineless, if you have both spine and strong will, you wont care if you offend them, as long as what youre saying is the truth.

  18. are we gonna ignore the fact that the plastic bag is in the actors

  19. 1:00 remember this, its useful.

    The delivery is phenomenal too.

  20. One of the most underrated scenes of the last 20 years. In one of the most underrated movies. The instinct but is so good. On the money.

  21. #stellanskarrsgard is so fucking awesome / theyve always come willingly …

  22. Actors: Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgård, Plastic Bag LOL! Is the girl chopped liver??

    1. @Simona McKenzie thank you thank you. I have been searching for this track for years. Amazing you found it. Hats off.

    2. Shahzaib Raza Got you! Sorry I misunderstood your Q. The track in that scene is called Great bird of prey…from Reznor and Ross Dragon tattoo Film score on the 3rd CD.

    3. @Simona McKenzie no. The background music of the movie before this song.

    4. Shahzaib Raza The song is called Orinoco Flow…is that what you mean? If you google it you can listen to it on UTube . My suggestion is to buy the Cd called Watermark….all the songs are brilliant. Enjoy !

    5. @Simona McKenzie thanks. And what about the background music track name? Please

  23. theres a gun, on the television. It occurs to me now that that hit should have knocked him out cold for at least a minute or two.

    1. No not at all. She hit him across the face not the back of the head. Knocking someone out in real life is not what you see in the fuckin movies either where one quick hit and its lights out.

  24. This scene was perfectly chilling because not only because of the acting by Daniel and Stellan, but because its a fact that happens in every day life. A fact that one can never be too sure of who they meet, or of what goes on behind closed doors. We just never know.

    1. Its even more chilling when you realize this is a kill room that has been used in real life.

    1. Dan Harvey try “it catches up with you” Trent Reznor and let me know what you think 🙂

    2. Donwayne oh my god
      Thank you so much
Yeah it was bird of prey music
      Thank you man
      You’re a a legend

  25. One of the biggest crimes ever committed in the film industry was the fact that this film never got its sequels featuring the same cast. What a wasted opportunity.

  26. I was ok until the plastic bag. I get method acting, but damn! How did he get through this scene in character without freaking out?!

  27. This was the most intense and powerful scene Ive seen. It is like a black hole for insane people which pull towards it…

  28. James Bond got bitchslapped and hanged by Gregor and Nancy Holbrook/Erica Albright saves the day with a golf club and a Sig Sauer P229, nicely done!

  29. I can think of a few people that would look good hanging in my basement like that. And Id make it last for a long, long time too. Mmmmm finger licking good

  30. Im pretty sure Daniel Craig has the record for getting tortured the most in his movies.

    1. This is true. But anyone playing an accurate James Bond would get tortured a lot: in the books, Bond often gets beaten or tortured all to hell by the end of the story.

    2. Watch about James McAvoy in Wanted, Last King of Scotland, almost getting penetrated by Oscar Issacs penis in X-Men Apocalypse🤣

    3. @geekout16 Oh right. Totally forgot about Mel Gibson. He gets tortured a lot too.

  31. the sfx of the teeth hitting the tile floor is the icing on the cake of this great scene

  32. Craig Ferguson and Secretariat dancing with Enya playing in the background…imagine

  33. asfdghfdfhafhsg omg i live the creator
    Actors:
    Daniel Craig
    Stellan
    PLASTIC BAG

  34. Asks a question

Imediatly chokes him making it harder to awnser said question

  35. The first time I watched this movie I remember thinking Ill never think of Enya the same way ever again.

  36. I read the book in like 4 days, I stayed up the whole night on Saturday and it was simply chilling, what s horrible thing, raping his sister, being raped by his father, being trained by him, horrible, simply horrible. Awesome book, looking forward to watching the movies, looks nice.

  37. This scene is proof that in self defense situations, one must hit the criminal until the criminal is completely incapable of getting up and harming the victim(s). It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

    1. @Donwayne ,
Always remember that as a good, decent, law abiding person your life is more important than all of the criminals, terrorists, and others that use force to achieve their ends at the expense of the innocent. This includes those that work for the same. Sometimes one has to choose ones battles carefully. Most of the time when it happens to ones self, one instantly knows that the other party is the bad entity and has every right to defend ones self, even when the other entity claims to represent the law. It really is possible for an individual, e.g. Sparticus, to be right and an entire society, e.g. Rome, to be wrong.

Here is another pearl of wisdom regarding self defense: It is far better to die on ones feet than to live on ones knees. That is why Sparticus was good and all of Romes leadership was bad. Sparticus, and for that matter, any other slave, without exception, always has the right to blast straight through anyone standing between that slave and their freedom, no matter the cost to the perpetrator or those that serve the perpetrator.

This also applies to good people who find themselves up against any other form of violent criminal including those masquerading as officers of the state. In order for law enforcement to be within their rights to arrest and detain, their cause must be just. Law enforcement has a duty to know the difference and refuse to enforce injustice. The rest of us have every right to judge for ourselves and protect our rights. That is why the second amendment was included in the US Constitution. Its not about duck hunting. Its about the extermination of tyrants and those that serve tyrants. Its about wannabe tyrants being scared to death of those they would persecute.

If victims of Nazism, totalitarianism, communism, fascism, and all other oppressive isms had this attitude, we would all be free and our rights would be respected. There is nothing wrong with killing tyrants, criminals, and those criminals that support tyrants. Scary but true.

    2. @Americus Patrioticus agreed if those are the only two options. I typically wouldn’t engage though. If I was a girl with a dragon tattoo I’d obviously be much more ballsy

    3. @Donwayne ,
This means that in self defense situations it is far better for a crime victim to fight back and risk being prosecuted and judged by 12 jurors for injuring or killing the criminal than for the victim to be killed by the criminal and carried by six pallbearers.

  38. Is a sacrilege to put this pure and beautiful song as background of a horrific scene.

    1. exactly. if you read the book or watched the movie youd understand how horrific the themes are and how this clip is completely in line.

    2. one sick point, like throwing mud to a beautiful painting and liking it.

    1. @Donwayne — A villain in Frank Herberts Dune. The second adaptation is coming this year and Skasgård is set to portray the character.

  39. omg. Martin is a Virgin in his torture chamber. ive never had a man in here before …. he is a vagina. and Lisbeth is the Penetration. bless her heart.

  40. Fun Fact: It was Daniel Craig’s idea to play Orinoco Flow during this scene.

    1. @Chris G i dont know, but sure as hell the lyrics sail away takes a creepy aspect when you put it in a scene like this

    2. @Josh Morris You used dichotomy too much but other than that, well said

    3. @Chris G

I think its more horrifying that he plays something relaxing, as opposed to death metal or something obviously aggressive and over-the-top. It creates a more interesting, and disturbing, dichotomy. I mean, we expect psychos to be avid Manson freaks, but theyre just as likely to be fans of Glenn Miller, James Taylor… or Enya, in Martins case. For instance, the real Charles Manson was a musician: he played hippy-type music, easy listening. He was also friends with the Beach Boys—fun fact. Another dichotomy is the fact that serial killer John Wayne Gacy was a clown that performed for sick children—basically, if Patch Adams was a murderer. Dichotomies like that make the psycho-killers more interesting.

    4. @Chris G Because he is a victim of sexual abuse by his father and was exposed to rape and torture by him. So even tho he’s picked up in his fathers footsteps and clearly enjoys it, he still carries the trauma of what was done to him as a child. It’s like an addiction he inherited so the sterile environment and the calming music is a way for him to control reliving his childhood trauma

  41. Stellan Skarsgård would be an amazing recast of a modern Goldfinger.

  42. Skarsgard is brilliant. When he said the look of hope draining from his victims face gets him hard… Oof.

  43. For those who say that it has not become torture, I must say that torture is not something exclusively physical: A human being enervated, humiliated, reduced in such a way and with the certainty that he will suffer extremely and die irremediably at the hands of someone who is unable to show mercy generates a lot of anxiety, fear, anguish and despair, aside, you can not flee or fight, just wait … all animals suffer stress and pain in such a situation but human beings have a vision of future, of transcendence and consciousness about life and death we can suffer on a more emotional plane when you know with certainty that your existence will be over in less than an hour.

    1. @NPC Unit #84740695
no they didnt, the set was constructed specifically for the movies production.

    2. Occult symbolism. FYI this is filmed in a real kill room. No coincidences.

  44. Hollywood seems to enjoy torturing Daniel Craig for some reason (Casino Royale is another example).

  45. Dont bother incapacitating him. Bcuz, the movie would end.
    Escaped. Sure.

  46. Ive asked the question on Google and Ive never gotten an answer.I know its not really important but Im just curious did Martins wife Liv know he was a killer? In the original Martin said that he had a girl in a cage downstairs while he was having dinner with him and his wife. Was she in on it? Also why doesnt he kill her? He made it clear that he hates all women

  47. Lol in the description it names who’s in the movie scene but it also says “plastic bag” as if it were an actor too lol.
